Postpartum Health & Wellness

Postpartum care is about much more than just the physical recovery from pregnancy and birth. New moms are typically feeling overwhelmed physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and truly believe that there is no time or energy to even think about themselves. However, it is so important for new parents to engage in self-care.  Having a baby is a huge deal for your body, your mind, your relationships, and your entire world -- so don't forget to treat it that way. As you embark on your journey of learning parenthood, don't forget to take time to take care of yourself. You can do this through exercise, meditation, yoga, support groups, or bonding with your baby. Below are resources for your new self in this exciting and exhausting time.

Self Care for Parents

You are important. Do little things every day that take care of you. When we can stay connected to our own well-being, it overflows onto our children and we're more patient, loving, joyful parents. It’s called practice for a reason and it doesn’t have to be perfect. Start today, and make yourself a priority now and every day after.
